octave-fpl software package provides plot data on unstructured triangular and tetrahedral meshes in Octave, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install octave-fpl
octave-fpl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the octave-fpl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep octave-fpl *
You will get with octave-fpl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
